Bakkan Festival

More wheat is produced in Otofuke than anywhere else in Japan. This is the festival is held by the wheat farmers, in the hopes that more general consumers will become familiar with Otofuke wheat. Events such as rolling hay rolls, a performance including a wheat calligraphy brush, as well as various dishes that use the just harvested wheat, are offered.
